Hydraulic Cylinder Services
Hydraulic cylinder services

Our main cylinder bed is 10m long which incorporates a hydraulic cylinder for pulling apart and installing rods in/ out of tubes. Once cylinders are stripped our engineers carry out a full inspection to determine necessary work to refurbish the cylinder. We can re-manufacture or re-chrome rods and repair small areas of damage to existing chrome, cylinders tubes can also be replaced or honed depending on extent of damage. All seals required can be sourced from stock or manufactured bespoke. Cylinders can then be reassembled and tested before being returned to the customer. We can accommodate cylinders larger than the bed, please call to discuss.

The Nutbuster
nut removal, testing of cylinders,

In May 2012 we were delighted to have secured the import of The Nut Buster, a hydraulically operated ratchet, from the US and to be the first and only UK company at that time to be successfully working with this machine to carry out nut removal to remove or install piston nuts and cylinder heads. The Nut Buster uses a minimum of 2 GPM and 2500 psi to develop 20,000 to 62,000 foot-pounds of torque.
